Chandrabadani is a mountain in Indian state Uttarakhand. As we know, Uttarakhand is well known with the name "Dev Bhoomi". Uttarakhand is the home of many ancient temples. Chandrabadani Devi temple is one of them. Chandrabadani Devi temple is situated on the top of Chandrabadani mountain. The temple is situated in Tehri Garhwal District of Uttarakhand.
According to the legends, the weapons of Maa Sati were scattered all around this place. The temple is about 7,470 ft above from sea level. The local people of Uttarakhand worship deity. The temple contain a Shri Yantra carved out on a flat stone.
You can also see Surkanda Devi, Badrinath and Kedarnath peaks from this temple. The one strange thing about the temple is that it do not have any idol. People visit to this temple mostly in the month of June and October.
