Kumaun University is a state university in the Uttarakhand state of India. Kumaun University is located in the Kumaun region of Uttarakhand. The headquarters of Kumaun University is in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. There are three campuses of Kumaon University in Uttarakhand. These Campuses are located at Almora, Nainital and Bhimtal. The Kumaun University was established in year 1973.
There are around 35 government colleges and almost equal number of private self financed institutes are affiliated by Kumaun University. Kumaun University provide around 8 academics facilities.
