Pashan Devi Temple, Nainital, Kumaon, Uttarakhand

Pashan Devi temple is an ancient temple located at the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. It is one of the divine places in Nainital. The primary deity of this temple is Maa Durga.  The temple is situated at Naina lake at Thandi Sadak. There is an akhand jyot lit here which is lighting since the temple was built. The temple is situated on huge rocks. Devotees offer sindoor and cloths to Maa Durga.

It is believed that when devotees offer water to Maa Durga, it touches the feet of Maa Durga and then flows into the lake.

Pashan Devi temple is a very beautiful place. Many people visit this temple. It is very peaceful place. It is surrounded by trees from one side.

We suggest you to visit Pashan Devi temple also if you visit Nainital.
